NIASZIIH (pronounced “ny-uh-zee-eye”) is a Lipan Apache word that means, “Vessel of Healing.” It’s a healing philosophy taught by Grandfather Stalking Wolf to Tom Brown Jr. of the Tracker School.

It’s the modality I’ve been studying and practicing for the past 5 years, and the one I use most in all my sessions.

Karl Direske was a teacher at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing for 16 years, before becoming a teacher at the Tracker School. There, he developed the classes that evolved into wildernessFusion School of NIASZIIH Healing.

Karl’s wife, and co-founder of the school, Pat Miller, has also been integral in developing the teachings and curriculum. Pat was a professional ballerina before becoming a bodyworker and personal trainer for 30+ years. She has incorporated her profound knowledge of the body with NIASZIIH to create NIASZIIH Bodywork.

Nothing I have ever experienced approaches the profundity of this work. In this modality, we “make contact and shift perspectives” in deep energetic attunement through the spheres of the physical, primal, spiritual, relational, void, creation, and Creator.

Often, people come to this modality as a last resort. Yet it’s not uncommon to hear stories in the school of clients having miraculous transformations — like full recovery after being in Hospice, or going into remission from Stage 4 cancer.

My personal experience has been one of profound liberation from the anxiety, depression, and self-loathing that I suffered most of my life. And it happened more quickly and effectively than years of trying countless other therapeutic methods.
